Travelling can be magical, but let’s be honest — it can also feel overwhelming when you have a neurodivergent child. New places, unfamiliar routines, and unexpected changes can all bring challenges. Still, we believe it’s so important to take our children out into the world. Every journey is an opportunity for them to grow, discover, and build confidence.

That’s why we created this Travel section. Here, we’ll share tips, resources, and experiences about:

  • Where to go – destinations, accommodation, and activities that are more inclusive and welcoming.

  • What to expect – honest advice on what works (and what doesn’t) when travelling with neurodivergent children.

  • How to prepare – practical tips to make the journey smoother, from packing essentials to creating predictable routines on the go.

We know travelling isn’t always easy — but we also know it’s worth it. With the right preparation and community support, travel can become a joyful, enriching adventure for the whole family.

If you would like to collaborate, please email us at hello@themonstersclub.com. Together, we can build a community of shared knowledge to make the world feel more accessible for our children.

Here’s to safe, fun, and memorable journeys. ✈️💚

Gabi
